On July 21, there was a rally, agreed with the town hall, where residents of Inta demanded the resignation of the head of the administration Larisa Titovets again. They called for repairing the roads, yards, and sidewalks, for returning direct elections of the head of the city, and for changing priorities in the budget allocation. Organizer of the rally Vasily Kireenko told "7x7" about it.

About 25 people came to the rally. The participants adopted a resolution that will be sent to the head of the Komi Republic Sergey Gaplikov. It says that the protesters want to return the direct elections of the head of the city and to dismiss all the deputies of Inta. As Kireenko told "7x7", the residents mainly complain about to the head of the administration Larisa Titovets.

— We have the same requirements. Resignation of Titovets, enlisting the reasons why. Repair of yards and roads is a new requirement. She has not allocated a penny from the budget this year to the repair yard (for the first time in 10 years), — said Kireenko.

In Inta, actions for Titovets's resignation took place at least three times: in May, in June, and on a one-person picket.

Participants of the rally demanded the city roads and yards repair. According to Kireenko, these demands have been put forward at rallies since September 2018.

“The city is in dire need of the capital repair of the roads, courtyards, and sidewalks, not just patching. It is necessary to involve 30-40 million rubles every year. And the administration of Inta, because of its inability to attract the necessary funds, has found only about 5 million rubles of republican funds for patching the main roads... But this will not change the poor condition of the main roads of Inta and causes even more protests among residents of Inta and more demands for the resignation of all authorities in Inta,” the resolution says.

Protesters claimed the budget allocation as well. For example, they believe that 30 million rubles, directed to the improvement of park of culture and recreation “Ostrov” («Island») in Inta, are too much to spend on it. Activists demanded partly redirecting this sum to repair roads and sidewalks in the downtown. In their opinion, the administration can save some money on decorating the city for the holidays, optimize the municipal staff, decrease their wages, and redirect money to priority expenses.

From 2007 to 2016, Larisa Titovets was the deputy head of the administration of Inta. In December 2016, she headed the administration of Inta. On May 21, 2019, the Council of the city district "Inta" re-elected her by secret ballot to the post of head of the administration and at the same time the head of the city district. According to the mayor's office, deputies elected her from three candidates unanimously.
